1999 Beaux Frerers Point Noir The Beaux Frerers Vineyard

Outstanding dark ruby. Smells like spring flowers, and dark cherry. Amazing wild summer fruit, including raspberries and small wild strawberries glide across the palate in this smooth offering. Very concentrated, with well integrated tannins, this could age a few more years. For a vineyard part owned by Parker, it is not in the "Parkerized" style- it is not a massive fruit bomb. It is very well done! I would never turn down a glass. With a steak.

This wine definitely earns an A. Excellent structure and fruit, and like Mikey said, not an overpowering bomb.
