2003 Argyle Nuthouse Pinot Noir

Lighter style, burgundian ruby. Anise, roasted meats, baker's chocolate and mushroom funk on the nose. Then a wash of candied sour cherry and earth on the palate. Acids and tannins a-plenty. Has a lot of charm, but a bit too many high notes. Lacking some bass. I'd like to see more velvet, like Domaines Serene. Well made.
