2005 J. Albin Pinot Noir Laurel Vineyard

Here's a pretty pinot for under $30, an increasing rarity. It is lightly colored, with compelling woodsy, spicy aromas. Then there's
slightly green strawberries, portobella mushrooms and cherry cola wrapped into a medium bodied frame. There's some astringency in the
finish but overall a very nice showing. Retail $25.

This is another good find from Garagiste (www.garagistewines.com). It is worth signing up for their mailing list. They find small
production, artisinal, reasonably priced wines. When you get an email from them, respond right away if you are interested- they usually sell
out fast.
