2005 Kilikanoon Blocks Road Cabernet Sauvignon

Massive jucy and tannic, this is an oaky, fruity monster. It is jammy and very long. Works well as an inexpensive steakhouse red. There's something strange in the midpalate with the mixture of overripe plums and green peppers. I've enjoyed their shiraz and granache more but this mostly works. The extra flab makes it overweight and its balance suffers. Retail $30.
