2005 Penny's Hill McLaren Vale Shiraz

Teeth-stainingly purple, this is a big, but well balanced, hearty, complex shiraz. Full bodied and chewy, with ripe jammy blackberry and plums, crushed black pepper, and an outstanding, long finish. Delicious. Plus a good value- certainly worth a try in this price range. Retail $30.
