Beautiful dark velvet ruby. Captivating nose combines flowers slightly funky earth. Lush and fruity on entry then acids and tannins dominate. We drank this by itself, which made the tannins harsher. I can imagine that it would work (and pick up finishing steam) with grilled meats. Overall pretty tasty and could age. Retail $22.
