Spanish Wines | Prices, Types & Reviews
Written By: Brian Freedman on Monday, July 31, 2006 Spain is one of the most exciting wine-producing countries in the world these days. The most famous Spanish wine is Rioja, a lovely red wine made primarily from the Tempranillo grape, though there are occasionally additions of Garnacha to it. Riojas range from everyday sipping wines to blockbusters that require the presence of excellent, rich food to fully bring out all their many facets of flavor and aroma.
