Wine 101 - Pressing wine is a precise and crucial element of the wine making process. It's also a tough task for a single college winemaker to handle.

2001 Feudi di San Gregorio Serpico

This is a massive, dark, inky wine. Delicious aromas of dark, dripping fruits, dark chocolate and something like tar. Then tons of tannins. My mouth has fur all over. Huge finish, but mostly hidden fruit. There's glimpses of boysenberry, and dirty forest. It is way too young, but very powerful and ageable. It should all come together...read more
