2003 Martinelli Blue Slide Ridge Pinot Noir
Written By: Anonymous on Fri, Nov 21st 2008
Huge, brooding, sweet and utterly fantastic with ripe waxy caramel, and porchini mushrooms. Dark purple and red fruits, spice, earth and a very long finish. Light and long, smooth and round. Stains the palate. 3 hours later, I can still feel the wine. My favorite American pinot, thus far. Got this on a wine list for $165. Worth every penny. Got home and ordered 2 bottles from the best price in the US. Current retail is about $200. At that price, still, worth every penny. Mikey's Grade
