2004 Pine Ridge Charmstone

Written By: Anonymous on Tue, Nov 11th 2008

This is interesting wine with 2 hours of air time. There's some chocolate, cranberry and fruitcake, in this medium bodied, mostly merlot blend (I am guessing based on the leathery nature). It has nice balance, and a good amount of acids. It is not the over-ripe style of most California wine. I'm part of the the Pine Ridge wine club. They automatically send wine a few times a year at a discount. They have good, even quality, and are appealing for making balanced, pretty wine. This one is worth a try. It was $26 from their mailing list. Retail is $33. Mikey's Grade
