Big Steps In the Wine/Restaurant Business

Written By: Dylan York on Thu, Sep 25th 2008

First off I would like to apologize; it's been weeks since I last wrote to tell you about the restaurant. Since we opened in August it has been crazy not only in the restaurant but behind the scenes as well. The past months I have doubled the amount of staff we started with and we now have an additional beach cabana open that sits right on the most beautiful beach in Grenada, Grand Anse Beach. The Cabana is a spectacular venue complete with beach chairs, a lounge area, hammocks, and two full-size beach volleyball courts. Before the space was reserved solely for residents of the resort which we are located in. Now all of our customers can enjoy the facility and people love it! We also just started serving Sunday brunch and it has become one of our best days. Guest can have brunch in the restaurant, use the swimming pool in the hotel, and afterwards take a stroll down through the gardens to the beach cabana and lounge in the sun. Things are going very well and the best part is that the busy season has not even started yet. Opening in August has given us plenty of time to iron all the kinks out and organize ourselves for the upcoming flood of tourist. The cruise ships will start to arrive in about three weeks and we are ready to show off our new place. Direct flights from Miami to Grenada start in November so this should also kick things up a bit. Stay tuned for more news from the isle of spice.
