French Champagne Wines | Prices, Types & Reviews

New Year's Eve, Birthdays, Anniversaries, awards ceremonies, even the Super Bowl - not one of these would be complete without the addition of Champagne. It is, perhaps, the most famous of all wines made anywhere in the world. Indeed, you don't have to be a wine connoisseur to appreciate the beauty of a bottle of bubbly.


There are, of course, many different kinds of sparkling wines, but none of them has the same caché as real Champagne. This is because of both the history of Champagne and the instantly-recognizable quality of it. In order for a sparkler to be called Champagne, it must be made in the Champagne region of France and produced according to a very specific set of rules. But what matters most is the end result: A bottle of what is arguably the most famous wine in the entire world.
