Trentino-Alto Adige Wines | Prices, Types & Reviews

The wines from this region in northeast Italy, bordering Austria and Switzerland, are difficult to describe in universal terms. This is because there are so many grapes that can legally be vinified in the various DOC zones in this region that their styles are widely divergent. However, good, reliable wines from Trentino-Alto Adige include Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir, as well excellent spumante, a sparkling wine famous in the region.
