Verandah: The Location of Grenada's Newest Restaurant

One of the most important variables in the success of a restaurant is location, location, location. Yeah, I know it's a cliché, but it's a truth that rings clear no matter where you are in the world. For Grenada it is especially important to be located where people can easily find you because there are very few street names and addresses used on the island. Parts of the island are designated by area (i.e. Grand Anse), then landmarks, and what direction you take out of the round-a-bout. To our advantage we are located in Grand Anse which is heavily populated with residential and commercial properties. While all the other resorts are located at sea level on the beach, we are in the Mount Cinnamon Resort which is set on the side of a mountain that overlooks the crescent-shaped inlet of Grand Anse Beach.

The restaurant itself is open-air and located inside the resort where there is a swimming pool and waterfall that fills the space with sounds of crashing water. The bar is located off to the side of the pool and the dining room faces the ocean with a large balcony that can seat up to forty guests. The balcony offers the best views and is the ideal place to drink a bottle of wine and watch the sunset. These seats will definitely be the most requested tables in the restaurant.
