Carignane - In a field near you

Carignane, native to the mediterranean area is


also known by Carignan,Carignano, and cariñena. The Carignane is one of the worlds most widely produced grapes.  Usually providing a high tannin and alcohol content this grape is primarily part of a blend or table wine.
