Tracy Block
Most 23-year-olds don't head to the wine store on payday, but Tracy Block has made a routine out of her weekly wine pit stop. In an effort to explore the plethora of wine culture, Tracy vows to buy a new, unfamiliar bottle each week.
"Working in public relations and as a freelance journalist on the side usually calls for a drink," Tracy confesses.
Tracy kicked off her career in journalism as the Miami editor of Six Degrees magazine, a South Florida lifestyle and entertainment publication. This former Florida Gator has an extensive background in the art of partying, and is a free spirit open to adventure. As a twenty-something, she is merely at the starting line of her education in vino, but has made the preliminary trip to Napa Valley and attends South Florida wine tasting events year-round.
When she's not busy working in the media, Tracy blows off steam at the gym, where she is a certified Spinning instructor and leads an energetic class twice a week. The Miami native plans to author a novel in the future and dreams of life on the vineyard someday.
Tracy writes the "Wine and the City" column at Classic Wines, where she lets you in on the fun and crazy lifestyle of a female twenty-something with an affinity towards wine.

The Pairings of Food, Wine and New Company
Being a member of the media has its perks. A few days ago, I was invited to a tasting at one of Miami's hottest sushi joints, SUSHISAMBA dromo. The upscale fusion bistro is located in the heart of South Beach on the infamous Lincoln Road. Boasting cuisine from the worldly influences of Japan, Brazil and Peru, SUSHISAMBA’s dishes are definitely...

Miami is the home to beautiful beaches, a stellar party scene and a number of notable events. In keeping with my perfect attendance at large-scale wine events, I made my second appearance at the 6th Annual Miami International Wine Fair. I remember last year’s event to be enjoyable and educating, but this time around, the scene was packed with...
