Carmenere Wines | Prices, Types, & Reviews
Carmenére is a traditional grape variety of Bordeaux that has, over the course of the last century, fallen out of favor there. It is, however, undergoing a bit of a revival in Chile, where it was brought in the 19th Century. When Carmenére is made into a varietal wine, it is full-bodied and powerful. Its reputation seems to be improving after more than a century of neglect.
