Lobster

Lobster is widely considered to be the most luxurious of foods. Nothing really says "living the high life" better than one of these little cockroach cousins. But when it comes to pairing them with wine, you don't have to spend like a rock star to find a great one. Your best bets are either Champagne—remember, though, that there are some great ones out there, like the Nicolas Feuillatte, for around $20 or $25 - or Sauvignon Blanc. The Shepherd's Ridge, from New Zealand, is wonderful with lobster, as is La Dame Blanche, a gorgeously rich white wine from Bordeaux. Both are Sauvignon Blanc-centric and both are absolutely delicious.
