Molise Wines | Prices, Types, & Reviews
This is not a wine region of any great importance in today's Italy. Located in southeastern Italy, next to the much more famous (and respected) Abruzzo, Molise is a region without a strong personality. Some perfectly enjoyable wines are produced there, but there really are no wines of great importance outside the realm of everyday drinking wines. Aglianico (an increasingly popular grape in the United States), Montepulciano, and Trebbiano Toscano are the most important grapes of the region.
