Pinotage Wines | Prices, Types, & Reviews
Pinotage is a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsaut. It was first bred in 1925 in South Africa, where it continues to be grown today. Pinotage is also grown in New Zealand and California, but not as widely as it is in South Africa. Pinotage varietal wines tend to exhibit a slight fruity sweetness. American or French oak help tame their naturally flamboyant nature.
