It’s dry with soft to medium tannins. The dominant flavor is licorice, which I didn’t pick up in the aroma, followed by cherry, oak and spices. The dryness really comes through at the very end of the taste. The spice flavor is light but tangy. There’s a bit of a smokey taste at the finish that adds character.
