Oven Barbecued Pork Ribs

replace me

Pork ribs, cut into 2-rib portions

Sauce:
1 c. catsup
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/3 c. vinegar
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. celery seed
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 c. water
Baking powder

Combine sauce ingredients in small saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Shake rib portions in baking powder in plastic bag until ribs are coated. Place ribs, meat side down, in roasting pan. Pour 1/2 of BBQ sauce over ribs. (Ribs will "foam" a little from the baking powder coating.) Roast at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, turning ribs over and basting with additional sauce after 45 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
