Brian Freedman

Brian Freedman is our host for all things Classic Wines! Brian can be seen featured in our wine videos as he guides viewers through the intricate world of wine. In addition he is also an editor and contributor to the extensive Classic Wines Articles section. Brian is Food and Wine Editor of LifeStyle Magazine, Director of Wine Education at The Wine School of Philadelphia, restaurant critic and food and drinks columnist for AroundPhilly.com and AroundAC.com, contributing food and drinks writer for Philadelphia Style Magazine, and Editorial Director of ClassicWines.com. Brian is also a trained sommelier--he has passed his first exam with the prestigious Court of Master Sommeliers--and regularly hosts wine dinners at restaurants, clubs, and private residences throughout the Philadelphia area. His work for The Wine School includes teaching wine courses, choosing wine lists for the school's classes, and conducting corporate, private, and charity wine events. Brian's work has been published both nationally and locally, and he has made several live television appearances on both Fox 29's "Good Day Philadelphia" and "Your Morning on CN8." In addition, he is the host of "The Classic Wines Minute" on ClassicWines.com, a popular on-line video series for which he has interviewed some of the region's most important wine experts. He has also been interviewed for articles in a number of publications, including USAirways Magazine, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and syndicated Associated Press articles, among others.
