Like a lot of the wineries in the Long Island New York area everyone in the family learns every aspect of the business; from harvesting the grapes to bottling the wine. If anyone is around NY, I recently saw they are having NY restaurant and NY wine week so it's a great chance to get a crash course in NY Wines without visiting every winery.

The North Fork is producing some great wines, keep your eye (Parker!) on them in the coming years.
