From the Producer

Allan Scott Wines & Estates Ltd is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery group. The company was founded in 1990 although the family’s history in winegrowing began in 1975 when they planted their first vineyard as a contract grower. Allan began his viticultural career in 1973 as a vineyard manager for a national wine company until shifting allegiance to a rival company, firstly establishing vineyards in the Rapaura district, then taking a senior role as Viticultural Manager with responsibilities of the group’s grape intake from all the New Zealand wine regions, as well as being part of the winemaking team.
