The 2005 Benziger Cabernet Sauvignon is a classically structured, full-bodied wine with a complete range of flavors, firm tannic foundation and an acid balance which showcases the varietal character. The color is deep red-purple and the aromas present blackberry, plum, leather and smoked oak fragrances. Flavors are of ripe berries, deeply toasted oak and spice completed by a lengthy finish.
