From the Producer

At present, Gil Vera family, i.e., Juan Gil Lencina’s great-grandchildren, are the owners of Bodegas Juan Gil. They decided to start a new cellar in the property that the family ownes in Jumilla, in order to get it adapted to the market,. This new cellar is situated in “Término de Arriba”, at 10 Km. in the northwest of the city. It is so called because it is the highest place in Jumilla, specifically in the place of Aragona. It is a winegrowing area for centuries and with high quality benefits. This location allows the technics of the cellar to better control the wineyards. This way, they can make an exhaustive control and do their best to obtain a best quality grape.

Besides, Gil Vera family is involved to obtain the best quality in their grapes and wines, always observing the environment; this is followed by every worker in Bodegas Juan Gil.
