The 2005 Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc was produced from fruit grown in the Awatere and the Wairau Valleys of Marlborough. Blending fruit from both regions benefits the wine with the aromatics from the Wairau Valley and a mineral note from the Awatere Valley component. This classically styled wine shows lifted passionfruit and fresh tropical notes on the nose. These flavours follow through on to the richly structured palate, which has a long crisp finish. This wine is ready to drink now. Try with smoked fish.
