Kaena 2004 Grenache Utilizing fruit from the Santa Ynez Valley, this Grenache is elegantly styled, supple and appealing with dried cherry, herb and earthy notes that are clean and refreshing on the palate. Only 125 cases produced! Owner and winemaker Mikael Sigouin utilizes native Hawaiian intuition to craft unique wines of style, elegance and power. This is achieved by selecting only the finest vineyards and working closely with growers to assure the highest quality of fruit possible. The wines are made utilizing the best techniques the old and the new world have to offer. Fermentations occur naturally with native yeasts, and caps are mixed by hand to ensure gentle extraction, creating long lived wines with a deep sense of varietal character and terroir.
