Pri 2006 Primitivo Primitivo (mitivo grown)
Description:
"This is the second year that we are making this Estate Primitivo. The grapes for this wine came from Davids Vineyard situated on a steep slope facing southwest. Primitivo is one of the varieties that grow exceptionally well in our vineyards. This wine was made in a Submerged Cap Fermentation Tank. It was aged in French and American oak barrels for a full year. This wine has deep black cherry, plum and blackberry aromas carrying all the way to the flavor. In the mid-palate it shows good structure and complexity with well balanced acidity. It has a lingering finish of black cherry, mocha and spice."
