The 2006 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc represents the diversity of both the Sauvignon Blanc varietal and the region. It exhibits beautiful, bright aromas of grass, citrus, and pineapple and showcases rich and creamy hints of melon, pear, and grapefruit. It has a clean and lively finish with lingering mineral and citrus notes. The 2006 Sauvignon Blanc was hand-crafted and fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve its true varietal characteristics and acidity. It was aged on lees for three months to provide a pleasing, rich mouth feel and texture. It pairs well with salads, fruits, cheeses, and seafood but can and should be enjoyed anytime. Alcohol 13.9% by volume 1000 cases produced Harvest - Grapes were picked at 22.5 brix on September 6, 2005. Aging - 10 month in stainless steel. Vineyard - This wine was creating using fruit from three different fruit sources all in the Oakville appellation.
