"Tasting NotesDont let the light color & subtle aromas of this wine fool you - it is nicely complex, with a mildly earthy nose, bright cherry/cranberry flavors with subtle hints of tea and a long and pleasant finish.Though the acidity is rather mild for a Central Coast pinot, it remains a good food wine that suggests a wide range of pairing options with foods spanning all four seasons. An affordable pinot, by Central Coast standards.The VineyardsTwo fruit sources contributed to this wine, with half coming from the Los Alamos Vineyard and half from Casa Torres Vineyards in Santa Maria. The grape clusters were prolific, yielding 152 gallons of juice per ton, providing plenty of concentrated flavors in the finished wine.
