Varner 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon
Description:
Winemaker Bob Varner makes Foxglove in a modern style thats meant to bring out the true terroir of Paso Robles; it captures all the warmth of the area, but none of the sappy, over ripe flavors often associated with Paso Robles. Foxglove contains a small percentage of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, which round out the fruit; it is produced with exacting standards and tremendous attention to detail, resulting in a simply excellent red.
