"This 100% Viognier comes from Vista Verde Vineyard located in the hills just north of the Pinnacles in San Benito County. The grapes were hand picked, whole cluster pressed and cold fermented in small French Oak barrels. This wine has undergone partial malolactic fermentation and was aged Sur Lies for nine months.Beautiful glinty gold color with flashes of light jade. Intense aromas of white peach, honeydew melon, comice pear, blossoming white flowers and fresh vanilla beans leap out of the glass and pervade the room. On the palate, ripe sweet fruit flavors of bruleed apricots, fresh mandarins, meyer lemons, almond oil, clove, nutmeg and raw honey show amazing depth and breadth.
