About

Considering that Waterbrook co-owner and winemaker Eric Rindal is so youthful and energetic these days, he was barely of drinking age when he helped L'Ecole No. 41 with their first crush. That experience did more to fire his wine passion than it did to discourage him,and he started Waterbrook Winery in 1984. From the very beginning, Eric has sought to produce the very type of wines he likes to drink--supple and well extracted. Of course, winemaking isn't the only thing that occupies his thoughts. He loves flying, and owns his own plane, which he uses to give guests airborne tours around the Walla Walla area vineyards. Originally from Seattle, Eric chose winemaking for the lifestyle it seemed to offer. It likely never occurred to him that he'd be working so hard and spending many sleepless nights during harvest, crush and bottling.

Waterbrook Winery was founded in 1984 by Eric and Janet Rindal and is located in Washington State's lovely Walla Walla Valley. Our name was chosen to complement the translation from Nez Perce Indian dialect for the name Walla Walla, meaning "running water
